Pubercheck Hillse Mastiff’s – 6 months
Yeeha! All the pups were ‘home’ this weekend!
It was a real party to see them all again at the age of 6 months. We enjoyed them so much. It was great to see them play and run. At certain moments it was a real herd that was running and we had to step aside LOL. They have grown and changed so much wow!
4 months ago they went to their new homes. Ready to learn new things and develop. The first 6 – 9 months they grow really fast. Therefor it is very important to monitor them well and check their weight, muscles and mobility. Here you can find more information about young dogs and hip dysplasie.
That’s why we not only invited the pups and their owners, but also:
– Osteopath Ilse van der Maat – Dier in Beweging
– Fysiotherapist Anouk Blijlevens – Mijn Hond en Ik
– Homeopath Marielle Rekveld – Het Reckveld
But first the kids had to play en it was great to see them having so much fun! They are all lovely dogs who looked fabulous and have great social skills. Are their differences? Of course! The diversity in this litter is hugh and we love to see it. The girls are a copy of their dad (Greyhound * Mastiff) and the boys; one looks more after their Mastiff mother and the other is a nice combination of a Mastiff and Mastiff-Greyhound. There is an enormous difference in height and weight and some of the pups are already as tall as 2 of our smallest Mastiffs (Bones and Jetje). But the proportions are right for their age. Some have developed great, certainly for their age and some need to develop more muscles in their back or hind legs.
We were happy that the owner of Buddy, van Eertswoude Mastiffs, brought her sweet Mastiff girl Ivy who is 1 day older than our pups. Curious about the difference in looks? The full Mastiff was one of the smaller dogs but she looked great!
It was a fantastic day were we could enjoy the ‘little’ outcross Mastiffs. Great to see them play together and we enjoyed their kind behavior. Their 2-legged owners were also a great companion and did a great job so far in raising them. Many thanks to the specialist who checked out the dogs, the photographer who had a hard time taking pictures when they were all playing and/or wanted to cuddle her LOL. Mark’s cooking was, as always, great.
Hope we can see them all again at the age of 1 year! 🙂
